Kylie is a Social Worker with over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families in a variety of settings. She has extensive experience in child protection and health services.
Kylie specialises in Family Court and Child Protection matters, dedicating herself to assisting families in rebuilding relationships and developing strategies and skills to navigate life’s challenges. She works closely with parents and children to foster healthy, safe, and strong attachments. Kylie is passionate about supporting children, young people and their parents through family changes, including separation, divorce, and navigating the Family Court system. She is regularly appointed as a Family Therapist in the Family Court of WA, providing court-reportable and non-reportable family therapy.

Kylie collaborates flexibly with children, adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of life’s challenges. She works alongside clients develop skills and strategies to manage emotional, behavioural, and relationship difficulties. Kylie also has extensive experience supporting parents in achieving positive co-parenting arrangements and regularly works with families to manage and resolve challenging family dynamics.
Using a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to the individual and collective needs of her clients, Kylie is particularly interested in family systems, strengths-based, and solution-focused therapies. She believes that building a strong, trusting relationship with her clients is essential to achieving positive outcomes in therapy.
How I work…
In addition to her clinical work, Kylie is a tutor in the School of Social Work at Curtin University. She also provides regular education and training for the WA Department of Health in areas such as Child Protection and Mental Health.

Kylie holds a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Western Australia and has completed extensive additional training throughout her career. She is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
